Trick or Treat
We had as many trick or treaters as we expected last night -- three groups of kids -- and we were very happy to hear them, as they approached our door (which was, if I don't say so myself, awesomely decorated), whisper "ooh we can go to this one," like this place is halloweeen friendly. Only thing was, one of our friendly neighbors, a parent accompanying his kids, said "So this is what you guys do instead of work" like we had way too much time on our hands decorating and dressing up for Halloween. We felt a bit embarrassed but then reveled in it, spending a total of three hours carving our Haunted House pumpkin (all credit goes to Alex)(btw, lola still can't believe we chose the same pattern!) and blew off the rest of the night noshing on sweets and watching a fairly good episode of Laguna Beach and watching the movie Bewitched, which was very funny.

I had a conference with Mary at 3 today, and I saw your story on her desk, so I'm like, "Oh, was Sarah just here?" and she said you were coming next, so when I got out, I looked around for you in front of Andrews, but you were nowhere to be seen:( I think I'm getting a new thesis advisor (fingers crossed)... We didn't have a SINGLE trick or treater last night!!!
